The RD Career Jumpstart Leadership & Communications Workshop offers live and on demand workshops designed to enhance your potential, grow your skills, and help you launch your dream career! It meets 16 ACEND Competencies for dietetic interns, including all of the Domain 5 Competencies, and provides hands-on learning activities to elevate your potential as a RD2BE. Sodexo
Dietetic Internship
Sodexo, the world’s largest private employer of RDNs, proudly offers a dietetic internship where future nutrition professionals can continue their education in diverse and rewarding ways. We offer a Master’s degree concurrent with your supervised experiential learning (SEL) experience, or if you already have a graduate degree or are close to finishing up, you can focus just on your supervised practice through the dietetic internship. Our program will connect you with our Sodexo preceptors in a variety of settings, including healthcare, universities, and corporate campus sites, where you will learn from leaders in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Most of our graduates will accept a job with us after their internship is completed and will start their career with us.
Marshall University
MS/DI
In addition to an undergraduate degree in dietetics, Marshall University offers two MS/DI opportunities through an on-site or distance program. Yearly, 11 interns are accepted to the on-site program and 35 interns are accepted to the distance program. On-site interns complete their internship and coursework on campus in Huntington, WV, while distance interns complete online coursework and supervised practice experiences in locations of their choice (distance interns are required to find their own supervised practice locations/preceptors). Marshall Dietetics provides an efficient one-year MS/DI program that results in the knowledge needed to become a successful entry-level Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at an affordable price. The welcoming team; accelerated nature of this 1-year MS/DI program; competitive tuition; and opportunity to gain experience in school nutrition are some of the many reasons to consider this program.
Be Well Solutions
Dietetic Internship
Founded in 2017 by the physician-owned, workplace wellness company Be Well Solutions, the Be Well Solutions Dietetic Internship (BWS DI) is an 8-month fully accredited distance program. With a corporate wellness and disease prevention concentration, interns gain experience in wellness, clinical, foodservice, and community, plus have the option of completing a fifth rotation in a specialty of their choosing. Interns have the flexibility to pursue individualized internship experiences based on their career goals while also networking with potential future employers in the geographic area of their choice. Despite being a distance program, we prioritize community for our interns with a dedicated faculty advisor team for support, virtual events throughout the program, and a post-graduation community of 160 alumni.
