Fun Fact: Jenny started AAD right after she matched to Massachusetts General Hospital in 2008. In the first season of coaching in 2012, she reviewed 100+ personal statements by herself, and decided that hiring coaches would be a good idea! Jenny also had a career for 13 years in professional sports. She worked for SportFuel (Chicago BlackHawks), the Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Bulls. She even earned a World Series ring with the Chicago Cubs in 20216!
Jenny Westerkamp began her career during her senior year of college when she started All Access Dietetics in April 2008, and since then has dedicated to meeting the needs of the dietetics student community.
In 2022, she retired from a 13-year career in sports nutrition. From 2017-2022, she was the Team Nutritionist for the Chicago Bulls.
In 2016 and 2017, Jenny was the Minor League Lead Nutrition for the Chicago Cubs and earned a World Series ring in 2016. Before that, she was the Nutritionist for Kitchfix, a meal delivery, prepared foods, and catering company in Chicago. For the first 4 years of her career, she was the Senior Sports Nutritionist for SportFuel, Inc. where she worked with the Rockford IceHogs, Chicago Blackhawks, and NBA Development League. She is also the co-author of Green Foods for Men.
She has been interviewed for a variety of media outlets including Good Morning America, Today’s Dietitian, and Men’s Fitness. Jenny was the President of the Chicago Food and Nutrition Network.
Jenny graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She completed her dietetics training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
