Pass Class is designed for the 2022-2026 RD exam in the US. That said, many Canadian RD2BEs use Pass Class, but still follow the Dietitians of Canada exam outline to be sure they are studying the topics specific to that exam. Based on what our past customers have said, it should cover what you need.
What others in Canada have done is purchase Pass Class Online, which is the same as our normal Pass Class program but includes access to the digital version only of the study guide.
Pass the Exam Prep FAQs
Great question! Other study guides do not include a study method and many users try to memorize everything, which leaves them feeling overwhelmed and ineffectively retaining the information.
Pass the Exam Prep teaches you an evidence-based study method, and has study guides, worksheets, and practice questions throughout to efficiently retain information and increase your understanding of the material. With Pass the Exam Prep, you’ll be able to confidently dissect complex questions with strong critical thinking skills.
The Study Smarter Method (SSM), created by Bailey DeBarmore, PhD, MHS, RD, is a complete study solution designed to prepare students to excel on the RD exam through a personalized approach; not only telling them what to study – but how; and why. Bailey recommends future RDs give themselves at least 2-3 months to study using the SSM, but the method can be adapted to shorter periods. Unlike other study materials, which may be limited to the topics within the exam, this guide is both content-focused and critical thinking-focused: allowing future RDs to enhance their study techniques and optimize their study sessions. The SSM provides an overview of the RD exam, personal learning styles/strategies, applying the SSM, tactics for overcoming anticipated obstacles, and additional resources to keep students confident throughout the process.
Yes, of course! Here are some sample study guide pages from Pass the Exam Prep.

Yes! We offer payment plans at checkout for Pass Class. These are interest-free! Email susan@allaccessdietetics.com if you have questions or need a different plan.
Yes, other study guides have more practice questions, but the difference is how you use them to study. In typical (and less effective methods) students do a large chunk of questions, grade themselves, look up the incorrect answers and move on. They also start to repeat the questions and then end up memorizing the right answers. This is not the way to prepare for the exam. In Pass the Exam Prep, we teach the Study Smarter Method, which teaches you how to use the practice questions in a different and more effective away, so the number needed to use is much lower, but still prepares you more adequately for the exam. This is also a less overwhelming approach!
