Katie Dodd, MS, RDN, CSG, LD, FAND is a geriatric dietitian, writer, speaker, consultant, mentor, and leader. She works full time as a home care dietitian and is a Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG). Katie serves as a CSG representative on the Commision on Dietetic Registration board, a Special Examination Workgroup Member for the CSG exam, and is a former Chair of the Healthy Aging Dietetic Practice Group (DPG). Katie is the recipient of the 2020 Oregon Academy Outstanding Dietitian of the Year, 2018 Dietetics in Healthcare Communities DPG Abbott Leadership Award, and 2017 NDEP Outstanding Preceptor Award (Area 1). Additionally, Katie is the founder of The Geriatric Dietitian blog, High Calorie Recipes food blog, and Dietitian Side Hustle podcast. She is lives in Medford, OR and is mom to Gavin and Emily.
